That sled looks downright sexy, I'm not so sure about that much white on the seat though. That gets scuffed really badly with boots.

I had a few yellow sleds and they were tough to keep bright. I'd rather have a low maintenance exterior, my obsession seems best put to use keeping the important parts doing what they should. I'll take function over fashion anyday, no white sled for me.

You shouldn't be caring about the sled in an avalanche. You should be watching your buddy, and the sled should be an after thought after he is safely out. In which case, it won't matter if it's white or not.

Think you missed the part where he said white gear too. As cool as it looks I would not consider white.

No, I didn't. His posts don't make much sense. He was saying that a white sled is stupid for avalanche safety (just as bad as white gear), but the colour of the sled doesn't matter, as you should not be watching the sled in an avalanche, you should be watching the person stuck in it.
