Ok I really don't want to start a bashing thread. I am looking at buying a quad but can't decide which one I would prefer. I have narrowed it down to the AC 1000i gt, AC mudpro 1000, or a renegade 1000. I haven't owned a quad before but I think about %50 of my riding will be on trails or the ditch, and %30 messing around in the bush and hills etc. and %20 in mud if I can find any.

How is the mudpro for riding in other than mud?

Not even in the same class, Man....the Renny will eat the MP all over the place including the mud. It will require snorks and tires of course. The MP is ready to run mud....but down the trail, bye bye Renny.

I would highly recommend the Renegade but if it's your first quad the 800 would be the way to go it has power for days and is a ton of fun the 1000 would just be scary

I was faced with the same delema last spring. I was deciding between a T-cat, a Can am 800 and a AC 700 LE. I bought a non current T-cat and have no regrets. It puts a smile on my face every time I sqeeze it! I wanted power but in a true utility atv. hunting, plowing and just out trail riding in all conditions (winter as well) is what type of riding I do.... so i think i made the right choice. So far so good.

I would stay away from the Mud pro as it really is set up to play in the skeg and the muddy crap.... not a multi tasker.

i have the outlander 1000 xt but for the type and amount of certain riding your looking to do i think renegade would be the best choice for you it would eat the other quad in all classes all you need is tires and a snorkel. you will have no regrets.

sincerely;
