There has to be a way to deny or reduce a politicians pension for dishonourable conduct. ie. theft, fraud misappropriation of govt funds. Damned PCs, Ive voted for these guys for years, now this what they have become. Time for a change.

The speaker of the house can take away $100/day for unexplained absences, but at her current rate of pay she goes from ~$367/day to ~$267/day, which is still well above most peoples income, not really much of a deterrent in my books.

Man that grinds my gears. There should be an election this fall due to incompetence. We need to run that whole party out on a rail ASAP!!

Everyone needs to suck it up and do it this time. Wildrose went into the last election with a pretty sizeable lead in the polls and peeps pizzed there pants at the ballot box and voted PC again.

Wildrose, and liberal, and ndp aren't any better.... They're all pompous politicians.... So to pick the best of the worst is a tough choice. I think things will move ahead now, with the iron princess out of the way

This is too funny. I hate that dumb women. We all get taxed 39% for her to travel the world and throw are money away. How is this legal?? She probably wants to get the severance if she gets fired. Look at her assistant. He worked one week and got fired and then got over 100K. I wish that worked in real life. How do these lying thieves get this??

I always voted PC till last election. She lied to win the party leadership by reinstating money that was cut from the budget to teachers which she ended up taking away after they won again. Then she bullied the .05 law into effect without going through proper procedure. Glad I didn't vote PC last time but the majority of the province did as all the fear mongering worked. I'm glad she resigned and hopefully the next person will move us forward again. Does Ralph Klein have any kids?
