Do you take pride in your sled? Do you think its a good sled? Would you recommend others purchase and ride a similiar machine? I ride a doo and the answer to all 3 of these questions for me is yes. For me it works the best. Maybe its just cause i'm used to the handling. Don't really know....don't really care. I think perhaps you take this whole sled rivalry a bit to much to heart. I'm not going to try to give you a sales pitch cause when it comes down to it i don't give a fiddlers phawk what you ride.

Well said! I've ridden all 4 of the existing brands at one time or another, as well as a few that are long gone. I'm riding a boosted Nytro now because that's what I want at this time in life, but I still own a couple of M's and a Summit that all get ridden as well. You guys gotta chill a little! Ride what suits your fancy and don't trash others for their choice!

I don't ride a yammy but pretty sure after seeing Chris Browns skill mixed with a modded one half the ch!t said on here really comes down to rider ability as he makes that thing look no worse than any other make.
I own a 2stroke turbo, lack the ability to put it to its full capabilities as do a lot but I'm not a sit and watch guy.

I just know my limitations and only push them as I feel responsibly at the time. I don't need to endanger other people or anything stupid trying to prove what it can do.

We've all seen what a turboed sled can do, on the same hand I do agree and know all too many douchebag owners who sit at the bottom and brag how it's not a challenge so why bother. Regardless of all the bashing of any brands, anyone who gets on a turbo or supercharged 2or4 stroke for a day if you honestly could tell me you didn't have way too much fun you didn't really ride one or the idea you have of fun has nothing to do with sledding.

I have fun with mine in all terrain and conditions and one day I'll grow into it. I'm still really only a season into it, if we all listened and followed the input on here we'd be running an etec summit with a 163x3 camo extreme specialty sled can and sway bar disconnects because they're clearly the best thing ever made and that's probably why all the real pros ALL ride doos right??

Fixed it for ya...

Man that was hard to read, I don't wan to be a spelin' cop, (since your spelling was good) but break up the 300 word sentences mang!!

haha now they make sleds for the type of riding style you like to do , if you like the strait up climes in 4 feet of pow , then go spend 25k and boost a nitro ( to me theres no chalange in that , except comming up with all that money) or buy a doo , or a poo for riding more TECNICAL RIDING through the tight trees, !!! also riding ability is what matters , not soo much the sled, ... but then again you wouldent see me on an arctic cat lol:skidoo:

I take people off into the tree's to play all the time, these people are at most times trying to keep up and when someone gets stick it's me turning around to go get them out.
This is on my big tank Apex!
My Tapex in deep snow is easy to maneuver whether in the trees, meadows or chutes.
And on the odd chance that I do get stuck a gentle pull on a ski while barring it it will launch outta the hole...haters!lol

Don't build one. Let someone else do that and then buy it for half what it cost them. That's what I did and I love it! There are lots of turbo Nytro's around for cheap right now. Apex's even cheaper.

i think the worst thing about owning a 4 stroke turbo is having to read all this crap about how good the two stroke turbos go,and how there going to kick everybodies ass on the snow.It sure gets quiet after you ride with them kinda guys in 2 to 3 feet of fresh all day,and they are just as tierd as i am. LOL

Haha, ya well the times are a changing. I boycotted Zala's because of there crappy attitude, and actually quit drinking months ago. Lol

Fawk Zala's Great White North is the place to water and feed. Great service great owners and they love sledders support them they deserve our biz cause there sledders and they run a great establishment. The gondola for the drinks upstairs is somethin to see Al and Pete set it up for them. Cheers

It must have been something pretty major to drive NM out of that establishment. That Ponoka crew have probably supported that business more than anyone else has in the last 15 years Ziggy. I don't think that place is as good as it used to be with out the likes of Mike and his wife and gals like Melissa and Kendra there anymore. JMHO.

Thats the point you want a 4 stroke turbo Yammi you better have deep pockets cause your tunnel mods and engine mods are gonna cost more than half the price of a new Doo. Poo or Cat. No doulbt they last but when they go its gonna be huge dough. Anyone who rides recreational and rides a turbo Yammi 1st day they ride it next 2 it rides them.
