The first sled I rode was a 19?? Blue Goose, it was my Grandpas trapper sled. Then we bought 1968 or 69 Ski-Doo 320 wow that thing was fast! LOL My Dad went big time a few years later with a Ski-Doo 1974 399 Olympic and 1971 AMF Ski-Daddler with matching Cutter! He Still owns the AMF! Completely restored. Sorry I'm rambling, just remembering all the awesome rides, icefishing, Christmas Tree trips, wiener roasts etc...

My first sled was 1981 Citation 377cc I wanted the SS Model sooo bad.

1974 Skidoo Olympic 300 single with decompression and bogie suspension.
So much fun mixing gas and oil, greasing all 200 fittings and getting a total range of 28 miles, trying to figure out those damn tillotson carbs......so much fun breaking in deep snow!!!!

The first sled I rode was a 1972 Polaris Colt 250, and with any luck, after tracking down the person that Dad sold it to, this summer I will be owner of it and begin the restoration project.

First sled I owned was a hand down from Dad, 1974 Arctic cat Panther 440, a rocket in it's day.

Here's pics from the original sales brouchures.

CR500R... my dad's first Cat was that identical sled, '74 Panther 440. It was the "Cadillac" in it's day. He had many sleds before that but it was all Cat after that.

Great photo you found there :)

Then got a polaris 680cc ultra that i had for around 2yrs untill some #$5holes stole it along with my truck & trailer, all i got back was my truck. Now a have a `01 summit 700x that i really enjoy.

First sled I owned was an 85 formula mx. I rode the heck out of it and had a blast. Then upgraded to a 98 rmk700 with twin pipes. That was a great sled, put a 151" x 2" track on it and pretty much went anywhere I wanted.

Well I can't believe there aren't more Yamaha Enticers on here, I remember going to rallies and herds of enticers would show up!

Started riding with dad's Iron

1980 Yamaha enticer
1981 or 82 SS440

Then I bought my own
1997 Indy 500
1997 700 rmk
2001 800 rmk
2006 800 SummitX

Still have the enticer and indy 500, last year I was bored at the farm riding on the summit, broke out the enticer for the first time in 8 years (2 hrs to get it running) and had a blast in 1 ft of snow. My back paid for it that night though!

Side note I saw a 74 Panther on here, we still have one shedded like new on the farm, fired it up about 5 years ago(that thing is the original tank in my books) also have/had the cutter that is in the picture with it!!
