My first sled was a 1976 Jag 3000....free air so the bugger would get hot unless you were cruising at a pretty good speed or it was cold out!! It was a fun little sled, though. I started riding that when I was 8 years old....never looked back since and I've always loved Cat.

Funny how the memory makes everything better, and faster! Silver Bullet was probably the best name for a sled... ever! :)

My first sled was a 1979 Blizzard 5500. It was heavy as hell, but pretty damn quick! I think the body style was way ahead of its time too, compared to the rest of the sleds from that era!!! Pretty tough machine... it survived numerous launches over our snowboard jumps!!!:Cool9:

My first sled was quite the abomanation.the neighbour had built it as a light weight hill climber.my dad bought it for my little brother and he rode it for 3 years.after he cought it on fire out in revy he parked it.i was told if i could fix it i could have it.after repiaring the wiring and tuning the motor she ran like a champ.that old polaris 650 was a real peice of work but she could really climb in her day
