New terrain that as far as you know has never been ridden, heading in from the top and hoping Google Earth had a good view ( no surprise cliffs and such) always a challenge.

You bet! A few buddies and I have google earthed our way into some zones in the north selkirks that have seen very few to no sled tracks ever. It's a good feeling when you break out of the trees into the alpine and have the place to yourself and no that no one or very few people have been there.

Used to ride the waterfall into the butterfly at lucille. Sometimes its good and sometimes just hang on and see where ya end up. Many sled parts in the bush there mostly cuz you cant see the conditions until you are already doing the jamaican bobsled ride at mach chicken over the three foot woops. Fun stuff, found a few other ways down.

My buddy had a 05 m7 with the attack 20 turned around backwards and you should of seen how interesting it was for him dropping into butterfly! He went about three times as fast as any one else. He got huge air off that hump.

I would say that all the areas are hard to ride with a terrible hangover and pounding headache..... just makes it seem much harder for sure... even the ride to the staging area can be a struggle

The trail into three sisters in Fernie is a doozie. Whoever pounds that one in through the trees is a magician. Makes silent look like a highway.

I have had trouble getting up the cut block into thumbs.

Ive always wondered what being the first ones in to salmon would be like.
