If it is to the X3 next model up,you get way better shocks / 52 more Hp/ beadlocks/ better tires...
And a few other goodies ...
So I would say it is about right for$$ value , considering all the extras ..

When I was playing on the website you have a choice between two engine packages. It doesnt give info on the difference between the packages other than there is an IC on the end of the abbreviation. So Im guessing the higher hp engine is from the intercooler package. The base model is 24,200 with the 903TC engine package, its 27,400 for the 903TCIC

Similar in price to a rzr 1000

I guess my question is everything else the same with the engine? So the big HP bump just comes from the IC package and some tuning? If thats the case I can see alot of guys buying the base package and doing an aftermarket IC and tune. Can probably go alot further for 3200 bucks? Depends how much the warranty on these things is valued I guess.

Im not talking about the next model up. Just the engine package.

Intercooler , ecu... and some clutching differences I would guess .
It would be easy to add more power ,how much with out an IC is the ?
My point is if it costs too much , and power is your thing ... it may be better to get the 172 hp one & warranty along with some other upgrades....

Not the same price if you purchased the the rzr please by me we have fixed the flammable stuff program late last summer.

my new 16 1000 xp was 18k or less in sept last year. i can afford to buy a few drinks but you are certainly astute in comparing retail on the 17s x3 120hp to xp 1000
