I wonder how many years it will take to reach a hp plateau, reminds me of the sport bike evolution in the 90s. Thinking Polaris and brp will top each other by 5hp per year till we get well into the 200's. Suckers line up then be pissed when next years has more power (like me).

Need a new one every 2 years if you ride lots. Be a lot of km on a machine

That's the beauty of the turbo models ,all the extra power you need is just a reflash away.
For just over 500 $ you can have huge / reliable power upgrades ....

Is there anything else different in the engine package other than having an intercooler? Pretty expensive upgrade

Not sure what you are referring too.
If it is to the X3 next model up,you get way better shocks / 52 more Hp/ beadlocks/ better tires...
And a few other goodies ...
So I would say it is about right for$$ value , considering all the extras ..
