Website Update

The Photo Gallery is now completed, if your a member your automatically logged in if your not you have to register to enter the gallery, sorry. There was a member that suggested a photo downsizing program. I am going to try that out. Some of the pics have been downsized a little to much when you email to yourself.. There was an error in the gallery for posting pictures the allowance for users, that has been fixed..

For all the Dial up users I have added a tab at the bottom left of the screen you can select default and it will go back to the default page which will load alot faster on your browser, and If you get DSL, Cable, or Satellite you can change that selection anytime back to snowmud

There is a new left side column 'Random gallery photo' that will randomly pick a photo from the gallery and display it. If you wish to see that photo click on it it will take you there, to get back to the forum there are tabs at the top of the screen

The chat room does work, I have to learn a little more before I can make a proper menu which shows who's online and all but for know that works.

The links area will take a while to complete but thats one of the sections im working on

There are recent suggestions of a forum for the younger ones, I may try in the general area and see how much activity it has.. but in order to do this I may remove a forum the Snow..In Sask doesnt seem to be a busy forum so I may move those posts and remove that one..

Website changes

Hello all. Well we finally got the chat room running right, see the left side of the screen, remember you must have java on your system.

You may see ads in between the posts once in a while, these are adds from vendors that support this site, it is not free to run a site, Please if you find a ad that your interested in click on it you will be directed to that site in another window. Myself I dont like popups unless you have selected to look at one of them so thats how it will be.
Thanks to all these supporting vendors and the members checking out the side menu Google adds we can keep this site up and running strong and constantly improve..

Website Upgrades, Changes and News

- Removed War forums, Use Just about anything goes.
- Removed Saskatchewan Forum
- Added Fernie to the Crowsnest area, also includes Corbin, Sparwood
- Chat room works well, you can open and minimize the chat room or if you have 2 screens move to second monitor.
- The Snow and Mud store for merchandise will open in less than a week
- For the photo gallery I have been using http://www.showyourphotos.com/ to downsize all my pics and it works great. You can download a demo version and it works for so many times.
- There is only one more week for free advertising on the site then its all by supporting vendors only, so If you wish to have your banner on the site contact me. After the first week of Febuary url's on the site to any vendors will be modified by the moderators, unless they are supporting vendors.

Thanks to all members and new members for all the posting and interest in the site. Keep telling all your friends as the more members we have the more information we have for all of us. Nice to see all the additional pictures in the Gallery as well. Also remember to all, Your information is kept here and is not given to no one. This site is supported by the Google adds, Supporting Vendors and Myself.

April Website Updates

Website updates for April - May 07

1. Addition of the YouTube and Google modification, you can now post video's that you have on YouTube and Google.

2. The Snow and Mud logo and header has changed, I just have some fine tuning, just have to change the blue border edge's to match the bottom.

3. I am slowly changing the Icons, If you have any suggestions let me know for the Icons, etc.

4. Next I will be working on the Links and Maps pages, this will require a lot of coding and work. There will be links for both winter and summer sports. We are looking for all the information from users for staging area's, maps, etc. Please email me if you have ron@snowandmud.com

5. If you find an error please let me know as well.

6. I may add a few forums to the ATV/Dirt bike side of the site, Please send your suggestions to me as well, ron@snowandmud.com
I may add a Saskatchewan ATV/Dirt bike section..

6. Now that we have the Logo done we are in the process of ordering Apparal, stickers, etc. We are also planning on getting a booth at the Snowmobile and ATV show this October in Edmonton. Sorry guys not Calgary this year but hopefully next year.

Switch ATV's and Snowmobiles

Well its time to switch the forums around. Summer sports on the top and winter on the bottom

That doesn't mean snowmobiling is done, there still lots of snowmobiling left in the mountains. My friend was in whitecourt with his atv on thursday and he said he brought the wrong machine he should of brought the sled..

Chatroom removal

Due to issues I have had recently with the chatroom, Ive decided to remove it from the site. It has not been used much at all anyway, Im sure you all wont miss it.

Addon Chat, which is a website that I used for the chatroom is down, who knows for how long but I found out this site goes there every time someone logs in here, which if there site is down or slow it affects this site. I was up at 6:30 today, logged in the site and it wouldn't work.. After some quick thinking I got into the coding for the site and removed this and now its all running better than before . Thank goodness now its 8:55 and Im going Quadding at the Venca bridge at 11:30 with Catmando and I dont have to stay at home and work on this...

Thanks Ron, was up at 7:30 tried to open up S&M but wouldn't let me. Checked out all my #2 sites and tried coming back to the #1 site still down. Went out at 9am longest hour and half of my life without being able to play a game or two. Back home now and all is great.
