Big 4 Point buck Destroyed in Invermere. Shot by arrow.Also shot through front shoulder and bottom jaw blow off with a rifle..

Thats horrible, really gives us good hunters a bad name. Karma's a beotch and will bite those pricks in the arse. My brother also seen in a butcher shop today a deer that had been clearly shot with a rifle. Some brave guys poaching a deer and bringing it to a butcher shop thats right across from an RCMP station. I kinda wish the owner would have called it in.

Maybe the deer was harvested by rifle in a legal area. I harvest my deer 300 miles from where I have it processed in my home town. If it's an illegal deer, you or your brother should call it in.

As for the pictured buck above, perhaps it was wounded by an archer and escaped, then shot by someone else and escaped again. Wounding game happens all the time, sometimes it's never recovered and dies like this one. To attack someone for the dead deer without knowing the facts is silly.

your brother didnt call it in either? We all have an obligation to report unethical hunting/poaching incidents.

Its also a fact that game is sometimes wounded and not recovered. I'd much rather see this buck between potatoes and gravy than on the ground rotting.

Actually the OP was showing a buck that was killed but not recovered. Then it turned into a thread where some posters are accusing unknown hunters/people for something for which there is no proof of.

Yes poaching is unacceptable as is just killing and leaving wild game to waste. There is no proof here of either. So "silly"? Yes "silly".

The fact is, the deer is shown to have an arrow in it and reported to have two bullet wounds. Where is the proof it was left to suffer? Re read the above info regarding wildlife being wounded and escaping. What am I defending?

If I could afford to have a motor home your phucking rights I would use it to go hunting for a week as apposed to camping in a tent or traveling every day, and yes I will take my quad with me to retrieve game if needed and if permitted.

It's nice to have meat in the freezer that's not pumped full of hormones and steroids like the stuff you buy in the grocery store.

So when you go to the meat market I'm sure you hike across mountain ranges through knee deep snow and mud filled bogs from your home and back, without the use of anything other than your feet? You surely sleep under trees while having to spend the night too right?

Cause using a motorized vehicle to fill your freezer would make you a lazy "fawk" too wouldn't it?
