Original post looks like a bad shot from a treestand with the arrow. Hopefully hunter shot with rifle to put deer out of it's misery. Doesn't look like a good rifle shot either lol, at least the deer is no longer suffering. I imagine the meat was tainted and thats why it was left for coyote food. Got to remember people at the end of the day it's just a deer. They are worse than rabbits imo, the fewer the better. I hunt for fun and if I'm fortunate to harvest an animal i enjoy everything afterwards from cleaning to prepping and making cool stuff, jerky, sausage etc.
