Not sure what game you were watching... They out shot the rangers 40-19, i would say they played slightly better then OK. No question Lundquist stole the show. Lou should have made a couple more then he did, but flat out the Canucks got beat by Lundquist, not the Rangers.

Shouldn't make comments if you don't understand.......

Just saying

that was a great game to watch from a nuck fan prospective until Lundquist stoled the show and Canuck defense feel asleep for about 9 min in the 3rd. Cant really blame Luongo on those goals as they were nice ones.

If you look back at the years past lou has always had a bad record in the month of oct. It's like it takes him awhile to get warmed up. I watched the game and yah they out shot the rangers badly and also had what 7 PP's and yet they didn't score.. The nuck need to figure out how to get the puck into the opposing teams net.. Thats been abit of a struggle. They played well just couldn't get puck in net.

So lubdquist also scored 4 goals on Luongo? Since it wasnt the rangers apparently. Doesn't matter whether you get 40 shots of 140 when none of them go in.

guys there is no point arguing with a Vancouver fan.....as long as they have the red headed step children playing for them the fans will believe they are the best even if they lose......at least us oiler fans know our team sucks, and dont make excuses

I wont admit they got beat by a better team. They failed to score on a hot goalie. Your comment was about their play and they did play a great game just couldn't score on a hot tender. No harm in admitting Lundquist stole the show and was the better man. But I do reconise there is nothing to talk about in the Alberta team threads so you guys might as well rip on the other one's.

Canucks still not Playing to their potential regardless. 0 fir 8 on the PP is unheard of by them. But yes like mentioned above they don't have great ratings on oct. I'm not worried yet!! How is Boston doing? Not to good!!

Good to see true Canuck form tonight. Looked a little flat towards the end though. Keep up the good work boys.

The Canucks are not doing any better than Boston so maybe you should worry about them instead of the B's, worrying about them (B's) is my job. And remember, the Bruins are STILL the defending Stanley Cup champions!!

my point was the canucks and bruins both had shiteh starts to the season, both being the two top teams from last season. and both had better games last night

I would say the Rookie leading scorer, two no#1 pics and the performance of the kid line are worth mentioning !!!! In light of the fact they chased LOU out of the net with 3 goals in 5 shots...........Not to mention our farm teams are loaded with talent just waiting......
Lou looks like he is turning into the boat anchor that will eventually sink the Nucks , because of cap space and being unable to trade him, with that insane 12 year contract...........

watched the game last night against Calgary. I must say I feel sorry for Iginla and Kipper. They need to be moved to a cup contending team as is looks like they will not have any hope in Calgary. On the other hand, I hope last night's play from the Canucks is here to stay.
