Hey all went up the hill yesterday(sat) drove to km 13 ish, rode 3 or 4 patches of gravel about 20 feet long then smooth sledding past that. looks liked it snowed a bit of fresh within the last few days and was snowing lightly, you couldnt see any of the old tracks, blew a belt because of the heat but its spring it happens.
i would def ride next weekend if people were planning, worst part is listening to the willows scratch the truck on the way up.
turning around might be sketchy but we found a logging cutblock right at the snow line so we lucked out.
i know this thread is worthless without pics so i will try to put some up
What r the chances of getting up there the weekend of june 11-12th, if anybody has any updates as it gets closer please let us know, thinking of headin up, Thanks
I'm ok with ugly, as long as its doable to get the snow, let me know if you check it out this weekend, really want to get 1 more trip in, thanks, have a good one if you make it out
Hi there ! Just want to know how the conditions are looking for this coming weekend. Is there anyone else planning ride?? Would love to say I have gone sledding in June.:d:d
If any goes up this weekend please post condition, were coming up next weekend hell or highwater, just would be nice to know what we are up against, the journey is half the adventure, Thanks
We still unloaded at 13km and road approx 1km of gravel in patches. The trail was VERY soggy. we took up to morning glory and it will be the last time it can be accessed that way for sure....lol. Once up top the snow was awesome. Up to 160cm in spots and much less in others. Wind, Rain, Snow, Sun, we had it all. We road the ENTIRE area. The goat ridge trail is turning into a creek quick. I wont be going again, but Im sure some brave souls will try to ride next weekend.
