Hey Curtis, the idea of climbing chutes with a Yami turbo is that you don't have to turn out in there :d coming down is the scary part

LOL, we felt bad for the Kitty Too! Always Do! Ya looked at that shoot to, but not sure what would be worse, turning around or just going over the top. Ouch! First trip of the season so was a pretty mild time.
Too bad we didn't know u were up on Miledge Fri, would have been nice to put a face to a name. Trails were in awesome condition, smoothest rides up for me in a very long time.:beer::beer:

I feel sorry for the yamaha guys in these snow conditions. Wrestling around those high hp, heavy machines. My buddies wont even take their 4 strokes out right now.:)

Ha Ha, too funny. My Nytro weighs the same as a stock M1000 & has about 270hp, maybe a little more.:d Too heavy? I feel very sorry for the guys with no power on the deep days though.

I was wondering what all you have done to get your nytro down to the same weight as an M1000??? I've had a nytro on the scales with a supercharger on it and a holz rear skid in it, had all it's fluids except no fuel at all in it and it was 593 lbs. Totally stock to stock those two sleds aren't even close to the same weight.

Not knocking your ride, just saying with these marginal snow conditions, you dont need big power to get around. A litttle 500 fan cooled would be just about as much fun, and alot easier to toss around. And yes on the big pow days it is nice to have the big power, just not right now. I'm sure you can admit the heavier machines are a little tough to ride right now. And if that little 1000 put a turbo on his machine he would be into it for alot less, and go anywhere on the big pow days you do. Nice ride though!

Back to the SNOW ! or lack there of.........

Just wanted to throw a quick update out there before the weekend.

As it sits, we still have not received any fresh snow worth speaking of in a long while.

The forecast is calling for a chance of snow, but so far we havent seen any of it.

The trails are in excellent shape and the weather has been great. We will most likely be throwing an extra groom on Chappell this weekend (Sat night) to accomodate the holiday weekend.

We have been having our fair share of non-compliance issues this past couple of weeks, including riding in Wildlife Act Closures, ski terrain and even parking down the highway and bypassing our toll booths.

Please help us out and spread the good word. We all work hard to keep what riding terrain we have and dont want a few bad apples wrecking it for the rest of us. Self policing can go a looooong way.

Thank you:beer:

Anybody cheap enough to park down the road to skip out on paying the trail fee should be shot with a ball of there own sh$%. If your not going to pay you should find your way up and down through the trees...Can't believe there are people that cheap out there and they are probabely the first to bit$% whenthe trail gets rough.

If you see someone in a pullout, please stop and explain that to them
