Better go back and re check those numbers, I just looked in the for sale section, seems the first 3 or 4 Youll see are asking 11.5 ish, and maybe are sold. You're buddy was asking 11.5 not sure what he got, maxwell asking 11.3 , but that's probably about 2 grand for the autographed hood and he's probably got his picture on the sides. the rental fleet is 9500 for choice.
They are certainly becoming closer than they used to be and yes I think it would be disappointing to be paying more and getting the same, so I agree there should be a difference, but it's getting skinny.

If I were you I would continue to buy whatever sled makes you happy and not worry about other peoples resale.

Lenny. The pro rmk is cheaper. That is the ONLY reason people buy them. There is nothing mountain specific about that underpowered cheaply made nut and bolt afterthought abortion of a snowmobile. Ya 15 inch wide tracks are awesome In the deep snow. Lmfao. It's a stretched trail sled no two ways about it. The 15 inch wide track really gives it away LOL. Fawk even Yamaha got that part right

Lenny, Lenny, Lenny........I have bought them all (except for the Yami) and out of the big picture (reliability, dealer service and satisfaction, and enjoyment of use) the Doo's have been the best for me since 2005. It is not the decal!

IMHO, maybe the higher Doo price has something to doo with warranty (that the Poo guys have to pay for?) and the different circumstances of the build location. I don't like the 15" track and I'm thinking Doo has maybe improved the clutching to my liking as I got 2700 km on the belt last year. Lots of times I think "I'm a Tard" but that just goes with the wisdom and treachery of being an ol' fart and not just being a "Tard".....:d

My sled is for sale for 11,500. Which. IMO is an awesome deal. Tons of interest. If I had the money to sit on it for 12,000+ I would. But with a 2014 coming I'm willing to let it slide for that price before the snow flies and get someone on the snow. Otherwise ot goes back to the dealer. Where they will sell it no problem for 12,000+ tax

The last listed price was $10,995.00 and that is a sled that has the most kms of the 2013's listed on here. Mind you, they are all gentle, old fart miles!

I tell them that there's good tech info and places to ride and convince them to join up and this is the kinda **** they see? Like wtf is wrong with people it's just a constant fighting match over stupid ****. You "think" because your good at sledding you should go on a forum and bash everything and anything not yours?It's even worse for the guys on here that are actually good at sledding and are too ignorant to admit that all stock sleds are a close match. I guess this is why the average guy could care less about coming to this place. Call me a baby but I'm loosing interest here also.

Fact is more people are riding factory snowmobiles in completely stock form than ever before. "Tech info" is going the way of the dinosaur. Except of course for the group of people that do chose to modify. In that case..the info is there. There is only so much tech you can talk about a new machine. Gas and oil are boring topics and beat to death already
