I sold my '13 Pro with 600km for 9000. good riddance.

That's exactly what my neighbor said about his '12 Pro. Less than 450 miles and two motors. Sold with a 0 mile rebuild in it for $9500 that had a piston go on it's second ride after he sold it.
Best chassis is a Pro my ass. Only thing good on them is the seat and the clutching. Brake is in the wrong spot, driveshaft with a clamp-give me a break, belt drive with no adjustment or tensioner, 15" wide track-great for trails. I'd say Cat has a much better chassis and other than the, IMO, goofy steering set-up that takes a little getting used to it's solid!! Just need to go 16" wide on the track and it would be awesome with an ETec.

If the 16" is soooooooo good, why hasn't everyone went that way yet  and why hasn't Doo went to a 17" yet??? What does that balance of your post have to do with the chassis?

Because other companies haven't figured it out. Except for Yamaha. And you don't need more to float the weight of the sled so no need for 17". That and it takes more hp to move the bigger heavier track which would really hurt the sad motor Poo makes even more and just rob power from the doo for no reason.
And it's relevant because the chassis won't fit a 16". So IMO, along with the other things I mentioned, it's not the best.

And Yammy is doing great..... So why not keep a 15" lighter to get more track speed??? I have been all over the States slinging sand, which has more effect to traction vs wheel/track speed on snow. Poo and Cat can make a tunnel to fit a 16", but choose not too. Have you thought about that? just asking.....

Ya actually I have and don't know why they don't to give guys the option at least. Poo could also build an engine that can stay together a whole season, a driveshaft that isn't in need of a clamp to keep it from blowing apart, etc. etc. But they don't. Why?
Ever thought about that? Just askin.....
Track speed on a Doo isn't an issue so not sure what your point is. I've ridden the same Doo with a 15" and a 16" wide. It was much better with the 16". It ain't as much a traction issue as a floatation and pop up on top of the snow issue.
Yammy is doing fine. Throw a turbo on and run on pump gas for years. Solid chassis, just a little heavy in the front. Maybe that's partly why they partnered with Cat??

My point is........ Chassis....... You and many other's like to pick apart Poo's and Cat's, right??? The "chassis" has phuck all to do with the motor, clamps or any other BULL**** you would like to post. If I was to sell you a 62 Impala chassis, what would you get?

Um it sure as hell does. Doo shafts won't fit the Poo chassis so if you want an ETec motor in it, you got to run the substandard Poo crap. Same as you can't put a 16" track in a Poo chassis so that too is a draw back IMO. SO NO it's not the best chassis. To be the best chassis, it would need several changes to accommodate the mods needed to meet what other sleds already run which are superior in design and function. And therefore, it would no longer be the current Poo chassis.
Also, I don't have to run Ford Ranger Brakes and driveline if I drop a 4 cyl ranger motor in your '62 Impala so your point makes no sense.

It's not just the tunnel. It's more.

Poo wanted to keep the sled nimble with a narrower track... Now BRP has found a way to make the sled handle just as good, if not better with a wider footprint, and all the polariginas are getting sand in their wedges..:p

Trashy, time to step up and open the wallet.. LOL

Lenny. The pro rmk is cheaper. That is the ONLY reason people buy them. There is nothing mountain specific about that underpowered cheaply made nut and bolt afterthought abortion of a snowmobile. Ya 15 inch wide tracks are awesome In the deep snow. Lmfao. It's a stretched trail sled no two ways about it. The 15 inch wide track really gives it away LOL. Fawk even Yamaha got that part right

Here we go again, fack, another winter of you waiving your dick around, Mr know it all.
