Curious to see what everyone is cooking for their Christmas Feast?!?!?!?! Or am I the only one breaking the "Turkey" rule ????? Do you have any special family traditions you'd like to share???

Cabbage rolls................happen to be my speciality !!!! Even Dad said at christmas time, mine were better then Grandma's !!!!

Only this year, I'm forgoing the traditional Christmas dinner I usually serve....with cabbage rolls !!!

Still gonna watch the traditional Grinch that Stole Christmas...........been a family tradition since I was a kid. But stirring the pot this year...............making King Crab Legs, mussels, beer batter and Fondue !!!!!!

Had duck one year and it was really good but honestly I am not sick of turkey one bit. Looking forward to it twice actually! Then the turkey sandwiches for days afterwards. Always just the regular old stuff like turkey, potatoes, stuffing, etc. Nothing to special. Sometimes cabbage rolls, perogies. But cabbage rolls are gross anyway!

Death by chocolate for desert usually sooooooooooooo good.

Going to be a bit different though, first christmas ever that I remember that my grandma isn't cooking everything. Broke her hip this summer, so not able to, still wants to! Everyone is cooking a little bit instead.

We just started the turkey thing on the one side of my family a couple years ago. Some thought that steak and ribs wasn't xmassy enough??? I'm fine with any of them myself!

And no feast is a feast without perogies and cabbage rolls!

I ick-schnayed Turkey on Thanksgiving: I don't dare try it twice!!

We have a cool tradition on Easter: we pick a country and everyone brings foreign fare according to the theme. It gets interesting!!

I just love the food a Christmas! The gals half cut on wine or something and the house smells sooo good. Then.... I eat way too much. If anyone has left overs, I would be happy to help out!

Christmas Eve is at my sister's, she is making a deep fried turkey. Christmas day at home, I will be making the turkey with all the fixings. However, I think next time I will try and cook a turducken as everyone wants to try it.

But if I could have it my way.... I would be somewhere far far far from here - like Mexico or Cuba or, or, or..........*sigh*

I make a different turkey every chance i get. Last one was chili lime! Always bacon covered and beer basted! I could have turkey every weekend. I switched it up (just a little) @ thanksgiving and bbqd a big ham, was rather delicious

We will be doing turkey again. It's just not the same.

For excitement, we will be BBQing the bird though. Did it at thanksgiving and was SO tasty and moist.

My ol lady LOVES cooking up a big feast for all our local friends who also live too far from home to visit family. Best part of Christmas no doubt.

I've been trying to find a restaurant or deli that serves Turducken, as I cannot justify the money to go buy one, and not like it!
