I've been trying to find a restaurant or deli that serves Turducken, as I cannot justify the money to go buy one, and not like it!

i've had it when i was living in dallas. it was awesome. if you like turkey, duck and chicken, then you'll like it. the biggest problem i've heard from some people is that they don't like duck.

Christmas Eve is at my sister's, she is making a deep fried turkey. Christmas day at home, I will be making the turkey with all the fixings. However, I think next time I will try and cook a turducken as everyone wants to try it.

But if I could have it my way.... I would be somewhere far far far from here - like Mexico or Cuba or, or, or..........*sigh*

I was hoping to be far away from here..........taking kiddo somewhere tropical for Christmas...............when sperm donor was said I was going to get $8000-$9000 in my bank account............woulda known better when he told me if it was a face to face conversation, woulda seen the bullch!t dripping from the side of his mouth :)

QuintinG and I made our first turkey dinner this year. Turned out so good. Yes, we celebrated early as we are both working over the holidays :(

Smoked turkey is the way to go! A nice apple smoke for 5 hours or so, hand made lime and black pepper rub, stuff it with apples for flavor and moisture, pretty hard to beat.

Now that sounds yummy.............................................come on over I'll get a Turkey and apples for you :)

then it definitely wasn't cooked right. there is a skill to cooking it properly. as for it being in the turducken, they remove the skin and fat from the breast first, so no greasiness at all
