No luck there deano,, ÉÉÉÉÉÉÉ
WOW thats impressive very very impressive. Every 7000 miles for a top end on BOOST. I average 3500 miles a season. Our M1000T needs a fresh topend every 1500 miles or so depends on compression.Once the two strokes are set-up and you run good fuel in them they will be reliable.. But it wouldn`t hurt to put new pistons in at least every two years.. But yet you know i`ve heard of a few yammy`s that have been turbo`d this year that have blown motors.. So i am kinda starting to question the whole 4-stroke reliable deal when turbo`d

Well Yamaha as play with lighting up the Crank so when you put 20+ lbs of boost all day ever day they are going to have a weak spot somewhere. Plus the cylinders will start to ovel. Im not going to play this game about 2 stroke 4 stroke it is a proven fact that the 4 strokes make more power thats reliable im sure that it will be proven again today at yammi fest BUT i could be wrong and if i am then i will have to say im wrong but lets what and see? LOL

Just my opinion here but any MOD 2 stroke i ever owned got a new top end in 1500 miles and yes it needed it, so im not sure that the turbo is whats killin it. Just my thoughts. Id like to but a blower and turbo on a two stroke, just like the old diesels. THINK IT"LL WORK
There was a guy from Prince george Bc that had a blower specially made to fit an older polaris cause he wantyed to try it out.. t didn`t work so well, it went like a bat out of hell for a short bit then built to much heat and seized motor completely solid.. Kinda a cool idea though..
I'll tell ya what shave some weight out of a yammie or better yet buy a nytro, and the power to weight ratio by FAR exceeds that of a 2 stroke turbo, myself some extra weight out front isnt going to kill ya at 14+ pounds of boost
Its all personal preference and they both have pro's and con's and we will beat the dead horse for ever. So in saying that Everyone have fun with what you got and injoy the way that we all need to de stress in the fact that we sled and at the end of the day there is no right or wrong.

Ok one second here on this one.. I have personally weighed a turbo M1000 and it was 490lbs with coolant, and oil.. I also weighed the nytro with a supercharger on it and it had coolant and oil in it and it was 597lbs.. Neither sled had fuel in it.. And the cat makes 250hp at 10lbs boost.. Not sure about the nytro`s power but it would have to be around 305hp at least.. And then what happens when you run the cat at a higher boostÉÉÉÉ
