A buddy of mine does that in gp. He has a second clutch and loaded it up. Now just switches his clutch and good to go
For how hard I'm going ride it down here in the Peace Country, I would think I could just use the clickers. That's what I did with my last 800 turbo, it ran like a champ.

up to you but if you start hitting rev limiter and backfiring ur gona hav trouble. pm if you want.. i can tell you what i run in my high ele and low elev clutches.. ride 2014 tss instaboost with 4000 trouble free kms.( at least with motor/turbo setup) would be curious to see if u tried the tss ramps

I know the consequences. I plan to run the TSS ramps with the gearing supplied... maybe? I have a lot of turbo clutch parts. My sled is a '16 T3 154". I don't even know what the factory gearing is yet. I only have 5hrs on the sled! In good time I'll make this thing work. I might need to take you up on that clutching.

Best and only way to tune a Xm for good bottom end is to use the Boondocker box . The only box to my knowledge that can modify stock fueling a bit is the Boondocker. The cm is very hard to get perfect because they go from extreamly lean because of the DI to enrichment fast. The problem comes from addin the turbo and backpressure it gets rich to fast and it’s from stock injectors not auxilery.

I disagree with this, sleds that run Boost it’s map run just fine. TSS kits don’t have the same tune or clutching at all ..... if you gave a boonedocker box to TSS I’m sure your sleds wouldn’t run good either.

Disagree, i still have problems going from naturally aspirated to boost, with the boost it box, after boost it tuned it.

The boondocker box is the only one on the market that can modify stock fuel injection pw. Tuning to it your desired AFR wile I boost is the easy part even an old ****ty dobec box was able to d this for the most part. Throttle response and how quick and clean low end is usually the issue with the XM. most XM after they spool the first time are fine but from a low rm or standing start lots will have a sputter some worse then others. The reason for this is that when you add the turbo you add back pressure so before your auxiliary injectors even cut in stock fuel map is to rich. Boondocker is the only one that can modify the factor injector mapping. I have rode aeocharger,TSS,Boos it slober, redlinand none have the clean low end that BD does or any sled that has been switched to BD box

wrong BD is the only one with control of stock injectors so any kit with a BD box tuned right will be best it can be. I have rode boost it XM and it worked ok but first getting onto the throttle was not clean and over rich pre spool

the XIC can be adjusted to delay the opening of the extra injectors at low vacuum/boost to eliminate this, it the XIC is set to add fuel to early there will be an overfuel situation

yes but still have no control over stock injectors only auxiliary. Yes adjusting when secondary injectors cut in will make it lean up quicker but still not as good as actually being able to modify stock injector pwm.

Yes reeds are fine I did a rave mod and need to retune the low to mid range on this xic 1000 can't fine any info any help on tuning would be awesome thx

the threshold it what adjusts the timing of the addition of the fuel if you raise this number is delays the extra injectors, lower it they turn on sooner

The threshold number was originally 4 I moved it to 2 and to 6 and tested bogs more at 6 than 2 I also tried the main fuel originally at 56 moved it to 75 bogged worse so tried 45 still bogs..... must be in rpm fuel numbers bogs at around 6000rpm and every time the throttle is backed off bogs to pull 5000 -6000 rpm...... may try disconnectiing xic and see if bog in pre turbo injection or bogging on secondary injection

Why not just pull fuel away between 5-6000rpm.

Lowering the numbers on a given rpm will reduce the fuel injected, it will probably take a bit of testing to get it right. That being said I hope you have an egt or o2 gauge to make sure you don't go too lean. Don't reduce your main fuel number yet, doing so will likely cause you to go lean at WOT melting a piston, not to mention it throws off all the other rpm ranges. Try tuning only the rpm areas that are giving you trouble first and then go from there.
