I know the conditions of which you speak... Welcome to Social Studies and Science. Two subjects that popped up this year in those two courses.

It's just not farming these days as it is a business, manufacturing if you will, of human food.

I know I still eat the meat (can't help it!) but the difference between wild grouse and chicken... Well you just can't compare. The Grouse you get way less meat, but by far better taste. Same as with moose, best steak EVER!

If your farm looks like that, then you shouldn't be farming. Dead animals, garbage everywhere, lack of proper food and water. That is animal cruelty. Unless YOU want to live like that, don't make animals you take care of live like that.

Mud, feces, etc are things that happen, even the odd dead thing. But it's things that should be cleaned up. We know what a farm looks like it's "dirty" but not the type of dirty that the pictures show. A zoo where the public regularly visits needs to be kept to MUCH stricter guidelines also.

The fact that people think those pictures are acceptable is just mind boggling.

not sure if ya know but most of the road kill ect [ possible most of the dead carks... ] come from fish and feather too feed the wolfs , lions ect...

whats going to happen to them now... where is fish and feather going to do with them now...

So are you guys teling me the peeps that make the decision to shut the zoo down didnt go and look at the farm and make their decision based on facts?? Or are the decision makers peeps that sit back and look at the pics posted on facebook and snowandmud?

And theres no need to jump down others throats that have a different opinion then yous!! I'm sure that Lynn was a really nice man who just wanted to do nice things for animals. But everyone has their limit and "FROM THE LOOKS OF THE PICTURES." It looks like he needed some more help. Maybe all yous who are crying about it getting shut down and live close and visit all the time and know the guy/girl personally shoulda went a gave a helping hand.........

I dont care if it stayed open or shut down. Never even heard of the place before all the pictures of the shoddy pens and garbage started showing up.

In a perfect world, people would inform themselves before opening their mouths, however that is no longer the case with todays technology. At least in the past once the uninformed opened their mouths they sometimes questioned themselves once they heard what they were saying. All I ever did was comment on the pics I have not seen one of u that are defending him put up pics that would make us" tree huggin foolish picture commenting peeps" see something else. I guess thats the problem.... lots of people see this like you as a "zoo career" comming to an end.... this isn't about that, it's the principal of a government agency going onto a persons private property and removing what belongs to him when no criminal act has been commited nor is there any recourse given for him to appeal....

cages were dirty, and in some cases beyond... BUT the AZCA report itself states that all the animals were in good health.... more than can be said for most government run/funded facilities...

the facebook page has copies of incident reports and people saying public safety is a concern...KEEP YOUR FAWKING FINGERS OUTTA THE CAGE!!!!

in none of the inspections was "Safety" cited as a concern... the "concern" is inadequate record keeping... on a privately owned hobby farm....

You made an ass of yourself once already on this exact topic, admitted you did nothing but look at some pictures and then jumped to your conclusions...At that time I tried to be polite and encourage you to go have a look in person before you judge...

I have now lost my patience...Get up off your arse, have a look or STFU!! Hope thats clear enough...Yes is is a public forum, and Im disapointed people like you share this public space with me.

Wow..this has nothing to do with making anything personal...In fact I have grouped you in with a whole heap of other uninformed people...I have however attacked your opinion that the place is unclean, and needs to be 'cleaned up'! Another assumtion you have made based on PICTURES and the opionions of others who also have not seen the place in person. It is this 'Jumping on the Bandwagon' that I have an issue with as I believe every person should make a judegement based on FACT, and personal experience. I have been there, enjoyed it, have returned based on these great experiences.

What have YOU done to qualify yourself as an opponent of the organization?? Visiting a FB page does not count...just sayin.

As far as my own back yard goes, I have no idea what you are implying, sounded like more incoherent rambling, but I have no fear that you will come check this yard out either...You seem to be more of a keyboard activist...

If it was that simple he wouldn't be whining and crying about it, he would simply be fixing the issues and wouldn't worry about it because it would be a minor fix. It's not like he had one minor issue and the gov't came in and said were shutting you down for good. It takes a lot more then one chance.

He is getting shut down because of HIMSELF. No one else to blame! THAT is the problem with today, no one wants to be responsible for what they do. If he cares THAT much about his zoo he wouldn't of had such a issue in the first place.

The only ones to feel sorry for is the animals. It's sad they can't be offered a better home, the owner does not deserve them.
