This government is hard up for coin. My Dodge dealer told me yesterday that he had a zoom meeting with CRA about his luxury tax contributions. He said he sold 5 units right after the tax came out that qualified but because of the recession hasn’t done one unit since. They are wondering why he isn’t submitting anymore. He said he has proof and I’m assuming if he’s telling me something like that he does.

They reassessed my personal taxes and basically said “well this is what you owe so you have no choice but to pay it) the reassessment is from 2019 and 2020 and apparently they have “trying” to get a hold of me for 2 years

Not yet but not looking like a choice. They’ve put it to their collection dept. and they’ll just garnish it I don’t try to settle up with them. I know of at least 2 others dealing with the same thing

Acct dropped a bomb on me yesterday. Shouldn’t have still have deferred income when I rented my land out. No inputs to eat it up anymore.

I’m gonna have to stock up on Anusol for the next tax year. Wasn’t allowed to take all my vacation, so they paid me out. I would have carried it over but that didn’t work with my retirement plans. Sold my Shares so I’m going to get hit with capital gains. I’ve got my financial advisor working to se If I can defer some of my income to next tax year.
Pisses me off. Try and save money for retirement and the turd has his grub hooks all over it
