Leduc also has a very good new recycle depot,,,,Can take stuff to drop off also. And it’s just across town

They sort and put in proper locations

Apparently our system was new last summer. If we take garbage out to the waste management depot, we put it into certain containers. Paper/cardboard here, glass there, styrofoam in another place, etc.. We don't have to pay for paper/cardboard/styrofoam but the other garbage we basically pay $80/ton. Drywall scraps, some bags of dog poop, bags of garbage, and the Christmas tree cost me $18.50 the other day. Old mattresses are $15 each. Seems to employ quite a few people and it is a busy place.
