yes nice to see green in the world again, lawn mower is over at dealer getting a couple bearings, and some repair. hopefully back in time before the monsoons hit. 10 days without grass cut is going to be a sllooowwww go. farm community is full bore, still some of last years crop lying in the field yet. no idea what it will bring, if anything?

i just need to get out and enjoy some solitude, and a cold beer.

well it is shaping up into a fine looking long weekend! snow on the ground out Nordeg way, weatherman calling for sun shiny days ahead, and i gots a case of brewski's and heater in the truck.

The sun is shining in the Elk Valley. Temps are low at 0C this morning. A definite chill in the air.

Just on principles sake, I will avoid the May long camping rush/crowds and enjoy the warm daytime valley temps while looking up at the pristine whiteness of the remaining snow. Catch up with yard work, brewskis on the patio and some fancy meals on the Q. Other than all the red and white plates of our fine neighbours to the east driving by exploring the town, our long weekend is pretty quite and relaxing.
