Another load of wood today; the furnace wood will be finished and with a little luck the house stove wood should be finished.

Then I will search for a small load of birch.

I like the smell of burning birch on a cold winter day.

A great day to finish the wood hauling chore.

The weather service people are forecasting the warmest summer on record this year.

That will probably translate into bush closures and lots of fires.
