You know the moisture thing is cyclic. If there is good moisture in the air now, with the coolness of fall, it will hang around and be damp. When it gets cold enough......

Still lots of growing season remaining! Even picked a feed of fresh field mushrooms yesterday. Now that is tasty....mmmmmm
