I meant with the posts....Longarm is a demon today, just in everyobdy's posts...

The nice serrated teeth that come on the blade...Prinoth says about 5 year life span...ours had paint when we got it, and those teeth were gone in about 20 days...$1036 for those teeth alone, and 36' of weld to cut out and reweld...

Keep your eye on the grozzers if you think the blade teeth are expensive. They may not fare so well on the dirt and rocks.

Oh trust me I have been (230 grousers at $100 a piece=$24k for new tracks)...funny thing is that they are not showing any wear at all so far. We had the ice cleats installed before we went out there and they said maybe a month...they are in really good shape and very little or even no wear on the grousers so far. We dont walk it on the gravel though. They are letting us walk in the ditches or we go cross-country (lots of fun).

Only time we do get on the gravel is if we plow a road then the last pass exposed some gravel, we we really try and keep this to a minimum...

Yes...Ice cleats on the tracks...same concept as corks on a dozer or trackhoe but better...
