But I have my shop apron on today and I'm fixing.....

Good day for fixin...Just spent the weekend doing the same. Tore the entire blade apart on the snowcat. 31 days and completely wrecked...Here is the bottom or 'heel' of the blade (it is upside down). Zero material left...

Wow! Sure glad we don't go down to the dirt! I guess all the sledders are too, eh!

We still got the paint on the bottom, hahaha

Cut out all the bad material and replaced the back and bottom with 3/8 AR steel (very expensive) then added 1" thick wear pads at the 3 attachment points. Added Bobcat cutting edges to the blade...wow does it ever cut ice now...and dirt, and grass LOL

The nice serrated teeth that come on the blade...Prinoth says about 5 year life span...ours had paint when we got it, and those teeth were gone in about 20 days...$1036 for those teeth alone, and 36' of weld to cut out and reweld...

The teeth...yes...way too soft, but for us this whole adventure was a learning experience. We had no idea if the snowcat was even going to work for what we do..the cat rocks! The blade is designed to push snow on snow and for that works great. Once you hit rocks and gravel, its way too light...

We have rebuilt this one for now and are looking at options for next year...
