I will ask if the building inspector can come by next week before I insulate. Because after electrical I should be allowed to insulate.
This way I don’t have to rip open any vapor barrier if I have any framing incorrect

It’s kind of a controversy lol gray area when you talk about spray foam and close cell 2 pound. As I’ve mentioned before 2 pound spray foam closed cell creates it own vapor barrier within a half inch of being created, therefore why would anybody need a vapor barrier?
This is where the controversy comes in is that you still need to put a vapor barrier over the face of all your studs to prevent thermal transfer? And that’s the gray area, do or do not???
I believe that you have to . And that stuff is freaking expensive and some thing that we couldn’t afford here, as there is no local spray foam companies.
So I will be using a traditional batt insulation acoustical sealant, and six mill vapor barrier.

Price is exactly why there's a mix of both within our cabin.
