Before you read to far take into account this is 100% my gut feeling and this is not based on fact in any way, shape or form.

I think Doo is going to come out with a mountain specific chassis. This is the second year Bret Rasmussen has been on Doo and he has helped them work the bugs out of a new sled. The XM was a quick fix to the 2008 REV XP chassis to win some market share back from Polaris until they were ready to release the new sled. I can not see Rasmussen jumping ship for anything less than being involved in the development of a new machine. I think and hope that there will be an awesome machine introduced this spring.

I can see him jumping ship for a bigger pay check to feed his family......I've rode the new cat chassis and it works pretty well..... A rider of his caliber didn't jump ship due to lack of equipment IMO.

So what does awesome machine mean to you if you think it's a new chassis? One ski? Like really how much more mountain specific does it get.

One very minor detail I'd like...some way to tell how full my gas tank is without starting the machine. Pain in the arse trying to fill blind. Either put power to the gauge for 20 sec when you pull up the kill switch or add a sight gauge. Fuel gauge on my 1200 worked if I quickly hit the starter button but didnt engage my starter.

This is why from now on I will be ignoring you. I hear from some people you are a nice guy in real life but the internet messes with your head.

I feel sorry for you actually. You are addicted to Doolaid so bad that it blinds you and makes even having an honest conversation tough. I will say this one last time, the XM is not and has never been the end all be all of mountain sleds. Are there things it does good? Yes there is. Are there things other sleds do better? For sure. You even have yourself convinced that the Ski-Doo steering set-up is the correct one that Polaris and Cat should be going to.

If you are ever down in the Fernie direction look me up. Until then this is the last time I will acknowledge your tolling.

I personaly have 0 issues with the Doo steering. I like the Pro and would be my 2nd choice for a mountain sled,, wouldn't even consider a Pro climb JMO don't think you'll see any huge changes for doo next season.

What's your problem? Really?I asked you a legitimate question. Drop the bs excuses and answer it. Stop dodging around with excuses of me being a troll and a terrible person on the internet. I'm going to ride some Polaris turbos today so have fun on your keyboard. Do you know the meaning of troll? I really don't know how you could have taken my post so wrong. Broken down I said the xm is as mountain specific as it gets. Proper footboards, wide deep lug track. Powerfully engine, rear suspension designed and built specifically for off camber mountain riding. I was honestly asking you what else could you do? Because so far no one has said anything. But you think they need a new super chassis. So I am wondering what that entails? Because I don't know. As long as it doesn't involve jamming the steering post wherever it fits I'm down for a change

I'm not following what do you mean filling blind? Pump clicks off. I guess if your filling with cans?

Hey man, I have an 13 XMX 163 and I love it bone stock(except the pull start), don't get me wrong. They will change things as the years progress. There are things that could definitely be improved, as with any brand. I was trying to promote forward thinking and maybe learn about what is on the drawing board. I am probably going to be the first guy to snowcheck a 2015 at Turples. Saying it is absolutely perfect and nothing could be done to improve an XM is a head up the ass statement. Cheers!

Absolutely things will change and I agree it is not perfect. Never will be. We would be riding elans if it was perfect every year
