What they can do is tow your sorry a$$ to the impound yard and pull the tint there courtesy of a professional window cleaner. Additude gets you no where in a hurry, but it can definately cost ya. Funny how some people can't seem to figure that out.

yep lol i have had dozens of tickets and usually its rip it off or were towing it.

Not allowed to tow for side window tint. If your windshield is tinted yes. But any cop threatening to tow for side window tint is bluffing, they can't. I've had it threatened by a peace officer who was being a douche, I told him to call a truck and tow it, go ahead. But I know you can't legally tow it and if you try i'm going to sue you so fast your head will spin. Was threatening me with 8 tickets, 7 of which were bogus and not illegal. The one i'm not sure about, my license had a crack in it, said it was a ticket, not sure about that one. Probably not didn't know any of the other laws....

Just like them saying they can scratch your tint so you remove it, cannot. Or if they tell you to roll up your windows to look for tint, can't make you. Nor are they allowed to reach in and do them up themselves.

I have no problem being respectful to them, but some cops just like to be douchbags.

some cops are just douchebags but also if you try and talk back, even if its nicely, you may get yourself into something not worth it. once you open your mouth, they'll start picking your a$$ for everything, from loud exhaust to mudflaps that are to short, tires that stick out to much even "widened exhaust tips." also people say it doesnt exist but there dffinitely is a form of "black listing" that goes on. if its only a tint ticket, suck it up or be prepared for a battle and potentially more money in tickets or lost wages for court dates.

I am always nice and respectful unless they turn into a huge douchbag. Then I don't care I will give it back to them. If they are just giving me a ticket I don't say much. But when they start beaking off I get pissed off fast and let them have it back.
