No film is permitted on the driver’s compartment, right and left. Any film may be installed on the side windows behind the driver. Any film may be applied to the rear window, provided the vehicle has 2 exterior rear view mirrors.

Both the same for BC AND AB...

This is right, a lot of places will tint windows on the front but will tell you they are not responsible. I have had my last 4 vehicles front side windows tinted and only had a problem once. If you drive like a d!nk than you probably shouldnt tint, if you drive like a normal person you can fly under the radar

For driver’s compartment, right and left, the minimum visible light transmittance, net, is 50%. The maximum visible light transmittance, net, is 35%. For windows behind the driver’s compartment, the minimum Visible Light Transmittance, net, is 35%. Where film is installed behind the driver’s compartment, 2 external rear view mirrors are required. The net figures that are allowed are enforced at plus or minus 5%.

The above are correct. no film on front windows. dipping is expensive, and good luck trying to convince or tell the cop its ok that your windows are black because its not film. they wont care and you'll get a ticket anyway, and worst case have to get new windows because you cant undip them i dont think.

regardless like others have said, lots of people do it including myself. looks nice. tint ticket is $140. some people say that cops dont care about light tint, its the limo tint they'll ticket you for. i've seen first hand that it doesnt matter. if you are driving like an idiot, they will stop you for it no matter how dark or light.

simply roll down your window if you go through a checkstop or see a cop close by

ha ha yeah or in the pooring rain i agree its dumb. never heard of that cheap of a ticket. with me and my friends its always been 140 in our area. after second or third time you have to get it removed and prove it by going to the cop shop.......then back to the garage with a case of beer and new role of limo ha ha

once you scrape a little corner up, just pull it and if its good tint like proffesional quality it will all come off in one sheet. however you think your done but touch your window and you realize its full of glue and very sticky. then you need to use a razor blade and soapy water and scrape off the thin layer of glue. about a 10 min job not to difficult.

ha ha yeah personal choice. at first i had mine light. then i would drive around with my friend and his were black and we would creep on hot babes at the lights or anywhere else without being noticed... so then i got black windows to ha ha.

get them professionally done, or else buy tint from the tint shop and have someone who knows what there doing do it for u. canadian tire tint is the worst crap you can get. and if u do it yourself for the first time, it will take a few tries to get it perfect.

I have 40% tint on the side windows on my regular cab and havent been pulled over for them yet in 3 years. My dads truck has 20% on his and has been pulled over several times, But has never had any problems with the tint.
