I have had my sled for 2 years now, bought it brand new, and 2 years later it only has 800KM's on it.... I know - I know that is a shame and I deserve to be hung..... But before we get the rope and find a tree I have some questions :)

It is a 2008 Yamaha Venture MP - 4 Stroke trail sled.

Do I change the oil on it only have 800K?
Anything else I should be doing before I ride it this year?

I guess I am just not sure with it having so little KM's on it yet it has been sititng. I start it once a month or so every month......

DOH!!!!!!

OK, being changed ASAP..... ch!t.
yeah the yammys say* change at 500km and then not needed for* a long time like 10000 or something stupid........but change it every season it's cheap insurance for your toys.....I have* a nytro only 36 kms last yeear and it's been changed for this season....i'll still do it at 500km as yamaha suggests.........and at the end of every season. as for sitting oil being corrosive...well maby if it's real dirty with a few bits of shavings or something...or low grade with allot of detergent in it..maby.........but change it as often as you would in anything you want to keep in good repair and you won't have any problems...Cheers!
