hey TG, they came stock on my commander. nice tread pattern but they are very thin and a lot lighter than the original bighorns, never realized how so until I had one off the wheel. very floppy like an old moccasin. the original bighorns are a way better tire all around IMO, the lugs are bigger too. mine were stamped and advertised as a 26", they actually measure 25" for some reason.

I paid $200 for the whole set of my tires so I really cannot complain, they are great for what I use them for. Not sure how much longer I'm going to keep this quad though..... got a few techniques I'm going to try up my sleeve and if they pan out I'll be selling it off.

whew thought i was runnin for the hills there for a second!! i have never run a mud tire as such, mostly trail type, i'm thinking that a true mud tire would be awesome in the mud, but a definite axle breaker. guess i'l just have to see how it goes.

so looks like mud tires are no a great all round tire, ruff ride on trails but real good in mud. itp 589/ maxis bighorn are a great allround riding trail tire, oriented to gravel /rockie side of trail riding, zilla are also a great riding trail tire , oriented to muddy trails.

I ran the outlaw radials 28's all last year on the 900 and they performed well on all conditions, rode smooth, and seem to take the beating these heavier machines put on the tires.

have not rode on these tires, have heard good things, will have to see if i can get a ride on them to see how they ride. what type of riding where you doing mostly, trails , mud or gravely/rock? would you get them again.

The outlaw radial would be your best tire, followed closely by a terminator....
Zillas are great but I would want beadlock rims due to there softer rim compound.

I still love my 30 inch zillas though! You can step into it and not worry about snapping chit....
Keep in mind a 52 inch wide 800 lb quad is easier on tires/beads than a 1500 lb 62 inch UTV.

Larry just buy some OLR 30's and I will drink your beer and tell you , "wise choice young man".....

I was thinking of the 28x14 inch swamp lites for my 800 rzr... any comments......???? Have read the thread and they only get 1 mention and nothing about the performance. Been quted $1200 for 4tires itp rims with lugs.

The riding I do is manly trail / mud and for hunting so quite a bit of muskeg or what ever you guys call "ugha bugga land"!

I have never been one to recommended Swamp Lites,.. they may work well some of the time, but they are **** most of the time. Especially on a SxS, I think they were made for people who never need 4x4 and just as a discussion piece where one could say, "hey lets talk about these ****ty tires".
