thanks to everyone who helped. its fixed! I now have spark and can finish assembling the clutch. Most of all thanks to TIMBO for driving out to help me. all it was, was a broken wire. sometimes a second set of eyes goes a long way:d:d:d

Sled is looking good.... I would probably find a polaris alignment clutch tool and go from there.... A good straightedge can do the trick too........... Be sure to keep those wires well away from the pipes(i see the one harness looping over and down between the pipes..... Might melt?). Do you have to premix your fuel with oil, or is the oil injection still hooked up?

ya im still strapping all the wires out of the way. god knows i dont want to go through this again! no oil injection. pre mix at 50 to 1. better to mix it a little rich untill i know what she likes. the guy i got it from jetted it for his fav spot (mcbride). it also has vari flow jets so thats a nice touch.

Does that sled have a thermostat? Can't see one on the head design unless its inline or on the backside? If not, be careful of cold shocking your motor.

And are the bars bent or did he ride it like that??? LOL
Edit: I think you might want to change skis too.....I had the pizza cutters on my old sled, they don't work so good in the powder. Didn't mean to pick your sled apart dude!!! She still looks good!

Glad to hear it was a broken wire and not something expensive!

WOW, you lucky guy!!!!! Free is always a good deal!!!! Props to you man! Its all good, didn't want to seem like a sled snob ripping on someone's ride.

as for the no t-stat then, just be careful of cold shocking it without one, them cylinders and pistons will get a 4 corner score if you shrink them fast enough.
