So started to do some stuff on my sled last night and have some questions.

In the first picture you can see the rubber thing has a little crack in it. Should this be replaced? I'm thinking yes as it would let more air in there.

Second picture, you can see what looks like rust from the secondary. Normal? Not? I don't think it was like that last year when I pulled her off.

Third picture, anyone know where to disconnect the tail light? I couldn't find it. I didn't want to just cut off the wire.

1. Replace the Carb boot. Air leaks have taken down a lot of 800 HO's. It's cheap insurance to keep them fresh.

2. I wouldn't worry about that little bit of rust in there. Some light grease can keep it away but that little bit of rust is superficial.

3. The Plug for the tailight should be under the back of the seat just keep following the wire under that holder and you'll come to the block connector.

Thanks! Will do! As I tear her down more and more I'm sure I'll be posting more questions, lol.

Not sure if you have done your secondary already. Install a 44/40 cam and buy the roller half for the secondary. That will make that sled seem like a completely new machine for you. Also order the air box from the 07 rev for your machine. I have an 04 and can give you lots of little tricks. Also some major upgrades which cost lots of money but are well worth it.

Looks to be the exact same thing if you look at the image. Diagram.

Maybe I'm looking at the wrong thing?!

Image #1: Part Number 1, SKU404162017 Funnel (PTO) $133.64 <--thats the part number Bow south gave me...doesn't seem to be right...

Image #2: Part Number 30, SKU420667105 Intake Socket

Pretty sure they are totally different.

take a good look at your reeds too rowdy, hold them up to the light and make sure you can't see any gaps between the reeds and the cages. if they are cracked or chipped you may need to replace them as well. the 'doo 793 responds well with v force reeds, better fuel mileage (under WOT position) and wicked crisp throttle response

no but if you look at the SKU's that you gave me and Bow South Gave me along with the parts break down they are completely different. Yours looks right on the parts break down, their's doesn't.
