No there is a channel that the lines are supposed to be routed through. Whoever put that engine back together should be fired.They un oil lines that close to the exhaust?
Not if he keeps taking the aftermarket can out when it goes in for warranty....Hes got a stock muffler, and Im pretty sure that cat would have figured that out by motor 3....
Hopefully motor 4 lasts a bit longer for you.

No defender,gaps in intake taped. Last one was a crank bearing. I’m suspecting the same
