as for the large rear wheels there was some testing done on this and the least track ressisance was found with that size wheel, it also was better for backing, but you loose around 1 inch of track on snow....

well after a conversation with brad and calvin today we will be sending back the turbo for a port job, as well their new style airbox... also looking into deleting oil injection with larger fuel tank and shave another 10lbs and clean engine compartment up some... sending pipe and y away to be ceramic coated and seams welded

looking for a newer look for the risers and handle bar... anyone have ideas

when i was talking to bikman about there 880etec he was mentioning they had a way they could get around the ecm limp mode protection... something the race guys are doing to elemintate theirs, local dealer was looking into it as well... even a much smaller tank would be real sweet... takes two long days just to get low oil light on

talking with robbey from avid and bruno from iceage we might try 9 inch drivers for lesser attatck angle with the rolled case... should also be less rolling ressintance in theory

These are all very good troubles to have! looking forward to the finished product.

Yes I would like to try the 174 on this chassie, I am hopping to have it light enough that I can handle the bigger track..

As for power plants... Looking at the 872. From Dave or the 880 from Brent linderman or bike man... That or swap turbo over to it... Still in the air with that

Dont really need three sleds in the trailer, but don't want to break them up either... And kids are getting older

you can delete the oil injection on a etec??

you would just have to figure out how to lubricate the RAVE's as two lines go to the block and two to the RAVE vavles.

In the end, I think it would be easier to keep it.

my dealer tech thinks its doable to remove the oil injection system, and with secondary fuel system in place should grab Lubrication from the premix for raves, as for the ecm trickery he feels it is also possible but needs to trick low oil and rave lube alarm with resitors...

c3 has new chasie ready to go, and plan to meet up with keven this week in edmonton.... track, skid, rails, wheels, drivers, primary, riser, are in, still waiting on turbo, new style airbox, new one peice charge tube, xm belly pan, nose cone and top end plastics

hopefully in a month its snow worthy

Sounds like you've got everything covered.. I can't wait to see the finished product as this will be one of the meanest sleds on the snow...

I have a Linderman BB in my 08 and it rips.. Has anybody done much work on the Etec BB and if you went w/ an 880 kit would you still be able to run an Aero turbo?

Running 9" drivers and 11" rears thru the dropped C3 belt drive rolling resistance should be drastically reduced?

Power to weight ratio on this monster is going to awesome..

we were out with lindermans 860etec and it was a real puller, baker had mentioned it was quicker than the ported etec by a margin, so ya it would be a blast, as for a 880 etec turbo.... i have my hands full with the 800...lol maybe next year

yes i think there should be also be much less resistance with the bigger drivers and wheels, and with a shallower attack angle, but seat time is needed to ensure that sled geometry is still in tack

well as for sled weights, c3 came in at a dry quote weight of 380lbs, but i was just hoping for around the 480lbs wet, or 30lbs lighter than the pro...
