The only XM I have seen weighed is 2013 a spring demo XM 154"X, it came in at 550lbs RTR. The same guy weighed a 2013 Polaris Pro RMK 155" and it came in at 508lbs. They are several guys that have weighed Pro's and they come in at comparable weights. Clearly AM snow did a misprint. I'm pretty sure we can expect the XM to gain a little bit of weight to production models being this one that had a ported track, is a demo sled and I imagine they will want to beef up the cracking footboards from some of the spring sleds.

Here it is read away: 2013 Ski Doo Summit 154" weight! - SnoWest Snowmobile Forum

Keep on flaming away...

this is dumb

strip down the sleds to the frames, steering components, skids and shocks. no tracks, no electrical, no motors, no plastics. then compare.

its like throwing a fully loaded benz on the scale vs the new hyundai base model accent.

Come to the dark side. I know you secretly want to. But seriously, if you are getting an XM I would love to spend some time on your sled again.

No problem, but will have to try stock and then try, ?????? I will be staying on the good side, no dark side for me. I have enough wantabees with me and drive POOOOOO's because they can't afford the best yet........LMAO

Where do you get 508, when post says 534 and we are 551, plus our 3/4 full of oil is a quart more then a 3/4 poo, and poo only caring half the amount of material on sled. So we should be comparing apple with apple and not a half sled to a full higher hp sled,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,LOL

thats kind of my point aswell. i could strip half the stuff of my xm too and make it super light!

no rear cooler...check...bolt on some standard efi....check.....remove etec oiling system to be less efficient and use more oil.....check.....remove bolts....check. throw on some cheap plastic material and call it a center console...check..grab some switches from princess auto for accessories....check...pull guages from 2001 mxz install on summit xm....check...remove 1" from track width...check.....remove 1/4" of lug...check.. OH look there the same weight now!

ive ALWAYS said there should be a bare bones lightweight starter sled. the pro rmk is that sled and there aint nothing wrong with that. good bang for your buck.

Mach123: It says the Assault is 534lbs and the pro is 508lbs which has been verified by a few other people (see poo forum).

You guys do whatever you want to the sleds and weigh them, feel free to make your own posts. I'm glad you guys feel so strongly about the XM, great sled indeed I'm real happy for you guys.

Oh I see, so what is the difference between those 2, mmmmmm I am just bugging, most guys I ride with have poo's, but they must wax mine after every ride if they want a spot in my enclosed and clean trailer when done. ...............LOL
