Also, everyone is always commenting that Polaris is so much cheaper than the Doo, (I have no idea what Cat's price point is)

So I just went on Polaris's site, 2013 Pro RMK 155 snowcheck, $13, 699...2013 Summit X 154 spring check, $13, 449. All CDN pricing.

Doo is actually cheaper. So no more arguing you pay more for an inferior product. :)

edit** oh wait, hmm, maybe you do still pay more to ride an inferior product! haha, geash, its a joke, don't get your panties in a bunch Poo owners.

$13,499 is what I'm seeing for the 155" Pro w/o e-start, so still more cash but not by a whole lot. I'm glad to see BRP worked on there price for this year, makes descision making that much tougher for the consumer.

This has turned into the worst kind of childish bull$hit. The guy asked what things ha would notice coming off a doo. Several guys replied, having ridden both machines and some poo owners seem to have taken this as a personal insult and turned this whole thread into another pissing contest. Grow up for crying out loud. Hopefully this is what the guy that started this thread was shooting for because now he has to wade through 9 pages of stupid to find anything useful.

Summiteer, all you have to do is read the #2 post on this thread and then ask yourself how did this thread go so sideways, it never stood a chance. Valuable, non-biased, real world experience is getting nearly impossible to find in this forum and I will agree it's getting real old real quick.

Ah, correct, so it was the limited edition I selected, white or retro. Base colors are $13, 499. But the rmk is still more than a spring checked Summit X. Peanuts, yes. The Doo's are only maringally cheaper, the Polaris has come up some.

The build to order with the minor upgrades is nice as well, BRP is supposedly coming out with that next month.

I would like to see Doo offer more colors on spring checks like Polaris someday.

Maybe you should look again and figure out where the crap started, right where it usually starts on this site.

He has to wade thru 9 pages of BS because Doo guys came on here bashing the Pro the OP is looking to buy. Some things never change and some Doo boys never grow up.

your kidding right? so me hitting the hills 3 days a week every season is not real world experience? me piloting 10 differnt pro rmks isnt real world experience?

LOL the problem with this "forum" isnt me. its the fact that just because your not hearing what you want to hear you get up tight. facts are facts my info comes from the hill. i barely have food in my fridge so i can ride the amount i do and get the experience i get. obviously your choosing to overlook that.

theres a few key guys on this site that actually ride snowmobiles a serious amount and see what happens out there on a regular basis. just because you dont like it doesnt make it incorrect.

lets make a timeline for you trolls that have reading disabilities.

#1 - original poster asks for information pertaining to what he will notice riding his new rmk coming off a xp chassis of 5 years.
#2 - maxwell ( that's me make sense? ) lets original poster aware of what he will notice his first ride out on the pro rmk as he has also been on the xp chassis since 2008 and has briefly rode the new rmks. ( similar to original poster..still following?) after all this is what the original poster was asking correct? not what do the polaris trolls think of the rmk compared to the xp chassis they have never ridden? but that's what it turned into right? how? not me!
#3 - maxwell lets original poster know that he will right away notice the lack of power, poor clutching and extreme lack of traction (facts don't even try and deny it) he also mentions you may enjoy how easy the rmk is to noodle around on.
#4 - famous polaris trolls (lennyr, high velocity and big shot mountain rider trench show up to the party)
#5 - thread destroyed.

i had the first post in the thread. so the direction it takes from there is TOTALLY relying on the rest of the participants in the thread and how they choose to use that information. could have ignored it? did they? noooopppe. trolls FEED.

i apologize to the original poster for this thread but really you asked an opinion. and the way it was worded to me sounded like you were looking for information coming from xp riders that have had seattime on the prormk. sorry if i misinterpreted this. i never said my opinion was one that you were going to like. were you looking for only positive comments? most likely not or you would not have had a need to make this thread.

ill say it again. an opinion is just that. an opinion. and just because YOU dont like it. does not make it incorrect like the famous polaris troll trio will have you believe.

you have a great new sled hope you can get used to it. enjoy it and let us know how it works out for you. just dont let the troll trio brainwash you.

Lack of power, lack of traction. Maybe a bit easier to throw around. But extremely awkward handling. Good luck. They are a "fun" sled but seriously lacking in most areas.

Hmmm, you come into the Pro section and bash the Pro and we're the trolls. LMFAO !!! You've officially lost your mind.

how is that bashing? you really need learn some internet lingo i suppose.

bashing would be

"oh thats to bad you got a pro they absolutely suck"

no reason given. there are legitimate characteristics about the pro that i and others do not like and felt the new owner should know. pretty simple ladies.

The OP and others should take notice, in almost every situation especially with kids or immature people, the most quilty usually deny the loudest and point fingers at others to attempt to deflect the blame. OP, this year seems different, i'm sure by now you're realizing this has nothing to do with Doo , Poo, Cat for maxwell and his Doo spewers, this is all to do with their need to convince you and us they're smarter than everyone, hence you should make the same choice as them , because they offered you their opinion. Not fact, not documented proof, just their opinion. Don't eat it, its crap, thesimple claim that Doo clutches put the power down better is so suspect that alone should make you realize there is very differing opinions on all this sled related. This thread wasn't wrecked by the poo boys, of which i don't even consider myself, i just hate when the loudmouth bullies star the same bull$hit rhetoric and disquise it as fact. maxwell would beak off about Doo being best if he got bested by a 93 Wilcat, but the sun would have been in his eyes or his belt was too tight or his clikkers were off. The last couple years these self proclaimed know it alls are having a tough time , the 3 choices are getting pretty close the only real difference is .....opinion, which is really starting to allow all of us to see their true colors. have fun with your choice, whatever the hell it is. The desperation is pathetic and visible, carry on Doo spewers.

do you really think i care what anyone rides or buys? no..i dont sell sleds. there's no perks in it for me. therefor do not care. and btw ive been "bested" by lots of sleds..again..dont care. do you know how many cats and polaris sleds there are in my riding group? possibly more than there are skidoos i get along with everyone. my point is they are all "good" sleds now. but there is still an edge to one of them. just like there always has been. also havent adjusted my clickers since 2009 when i purchased my new 2010. so nice try LOL

Hey Maxwell, I wasn't singling you out personally it just so happened that the FIRST response to the original post was nothing but a slam towards the Pro, re-read your post, it offered no valuable info whatsoever. No one doubts how much you ride or how vast your knowledge of 800 two strokes is, we are made aware of that on an almost daily basis. On a side note, no food in your fridge, I've seen a few of your photos, I'm pretty sure you havn't missed to many meals, might be time for a reality check if you're starving yourself to go out riding. Hopefully you appreciate and enjoy all the riding you get in, I was like you once then this little thing called responsibility crept into my life and that was the end of my 10-12 trips a season. Never once said the problem with this "forum" was you, just found it amusing that from the conception of this thread it was doomed, just so happened to be you who initiated the immediate slamming of the Poo. Anyways I'll leave it at that, now I'm one of the dip shits adding nothing useful to an already lost thread.
