When I snow checked I didn't get the sled till mid November, I gave up on snowchecking as I couldn't see any advantage other than colour. BTW does the Summit you have for sale have electric start?

Thanks for the answer, I have asked my dealer, and he says beginning of November, but he is normally overly optimistic...

Electric Start? No...Heck I am fairly new to mountain riding, so when I asked everyone if I should get electric start, the majority came back saying 'Its a mountain sled, you dont need electric start'...so I didnt get it LOL

NOW, I have snowchecked another sled, and STILL didnt get electric start...I gotta quit listening to everyone here haha!! I think it would be a great option...

PS they would be ski-doo, not sure about the other brands

E-start is like a kickstand on a dirtbike, you make fun of it all the time until you have it. Then you'll never get one without it.

See....

Mixed bag of answers...I tore my rotator cuff and broke my shoulder and am awaiting surgery (but still riding) and I sure wish I had electric start last year, but too late now, I have this one coming without as well.

Hope I see it in early November, I think we will have snow early this year!! Fingers crossed!

My '09 Dragon was a snow check that a guy did not take. Some of these sleds showed up early but not all. The dealer was going to keep his $500 for backing out if he didn't find someone to take the sled. I've never snow checked one myself because come the following spring the same sled is 2-3 grand cheaper...if one can wait, but I couldn't. This pic is when I picked it up :d

Oh man, shed some light please, this is my first snowcheck, but like everything there is always time to back out...

Give me your thoughts on why you think its a rip-off, AND how else do I get an X model?

...In my case..The first two I got them in June 98 & 02... The 06 got in the early fall (paid top dollar on all) & lots of dealers had the same sleds brought in at unexplained reasons & were selling for a lot less to make room for the next march snowcheck. That's kind of the short of it..

Ok, well I dont feel so bad then...here is my issue, I wanted an X last year, and yes some dealers had them but were asking crazy prices for them, so I went with the Everest all along planning to snowcheck an X for this year. My dealer was aware of the situation, I got a great deal on the Everest, and a 'written' deal for the trade in price, and a written quote on the snowcheck. I got the snowcheck for less than any of the X's that I found last year, so I believe I did great on the pricing side, and of course will finally have the X that I wanted last year. Would I do it again, I will let you know when it gets here.

thanks for the input, I appreciate it!
