Snow!!!!

just moved to the Jaffray area, would be interested to connect and ride some of the local areas once we get some snow.

you betcha mike just pm me anytime or call 919-1130 I'm always down for a ride also since you moved to jaffray try and meet a family with the last name reay the kids sled every weekend i know them well! jaffray has some sweet early and spring riding in the little sands area and also some amazing sledding up the bull river

Some friends tried out the little sand area, made it to the lake, had about a foot of snow on the ground, they went for a hike, left the sleds down and the skis on the racks.

My skins wouldn't stick to my splitboard, so i skipped out. Turns out I didn't miss anything.

I'm learning patience this year it seems. :d

snowing hard in cranbrook so far an inch or more of heavy wet snow looks good for the areas up high this snow should build a real nice base:d

still snowing super hard in cranbrook shoveled the driveway three times so far total of 8-10 inches in cranbrook and still snowing hard flakes the size of toonies

Picture from Monday and it has snowed for a couple of days since. Prior to tonight's event there was 24" at the Wrangler's cabin. Lots of snow has fallen tonight and the highway is a mess.

Access by Coal Creek as the Morrissey FSR has been plowed.

This was in Elkford. Staged at Round Prairie and the elevation for the staging area is 4300' and elevation for the snow covered Doo is 6800'.
