I'm loaded and ready to go for next weekend theres lots of riding areas down in that area, definitely worth bringing your sleds. I haven't road around Fernie in 7 or 8 years but there is lots not too far from town.
We were up at the grey cr pass today. 1~1.3m . A very nice consolidated snowpack. A couple of melt/freeze layers but seemed to be bonding well. Looking pretty dam good for this time of year. 20cm new made riding one solid face shot.
We went skiing up the St Marys valley yesterday as well. It was a pow day. Still a bit thin to be running sleds in the fields, too many stumps for this guy.
Everything from open bowls to tree riding to alpine meadows! Just have to know where to go!!!! You can leave right from the fas gas in town if you like!!
