Found two small cracks on my slp pipe. Was wondering what kind of steel they are made from so I can get the proper weld filler. 409 stainless or another kind of heat tolerant grade?

They're not stainless. Call SLP and ask their tech line is pretty good. Mine has the exhaust sensor gobbed back on with mig. Run the gear clamp tight to avoid more cracks.

On my old M1000 I had to patch every season. Used mig with light .024 wire with gas. Would weld perfect
