Good luck guys. There are so many holes that were still wide open on saturday. We had a buddy just about fall in. last minute he got the front end up and managed to hook the back of his skis in the snow. the 155 pro was straight vertical and the ski loops just sticking out and rear bumper caught where the hole started to close in. it was prolly another 4 feet to the bottom of the hole but after some hard work we got it out.

They groom the Vederman trail yet? I would bet he's along there if he was going to his truck. There's some nasty stuff off that trail.

And the vediman trail has many, many open creek, valleys,

And for me going down and screwing around vediman on the way out is a blast

Possible that's the way he went

Vediman is the one by the old $hitter right? as in if you leave the cabin to go into the back, its on your left side right next to the small shack?

Yup that's where we fell in the hole. In the trees along that trail

Good luck guys. Hoping for the best outcome. If it was me out there I sure hope people would continue searching for me, I know its been a long few days and surviving out there for that many days would be hard but stranger things have happened before. My fingers are crossed for you guys. Wish I was lived closer and knew the Revy area so I could help out.

Hope he's found alive and well, many thanks to those from SAR and the RCMP for putting in the effort to locate him.

Much appreciation for those individuals able to go out and look around today, knowing a fellow sledder is missing and foregoing a day of riding themselves! Best wishes for a positive outcome!

Our thoughts and prayers for Travis Brown.
We are all hoping for the best.

Hoping all the the sledders searching for Travis to have a safe ride in and out - and so cautious of all the pit falls in the creeks.

Question:
has anyone ever tried a beacon search by spreading out in a larger area or timed behind each other to see if it is possible to pick up the beacon tone of the lost sledder???

Do do any beacons beacons have an earphone plug so the beacon can be set to receive and the ear phone in you ear in your helmet then ride you sled individually trying to pick up a signal for a distressed/downed rider???

Take care everyone
Still hoping for a positive outcome

The helicopters flying around had transceivers in them.

With the amount of risk these guys are putting themselves at, to just search. Isn't a concern to not have you own beacon transmitting. I suppose safety in numbers.

running sleds can give off ghost signals. If you are searching by sled You will need to drive 30M stop turn your sled off and then check, repeat.

Agree about the ghost signals from a running sled. Found this out while searching for one of our lost group members a couple of years ago.

That and rumour has it he wasn't wearing a beacon anyways.
Sad situation. Like earlier posted that couple that went missing at Louise the dude lived 10 days so there is still hope.
