Just go to Fuelly and see real world HD diesel numbers. I don't believe anything when it comes to someones fuel economy. They see under 12L/100km one time on the display and use that number for all their arguments. It is a little harder to break down the GM/Chev products but easy to see the Ford and Ram diesel options. They are all between 15-17L/100km average over the last 3 years. Not much to brag about.

600km from home to cabin. Megacab diesel has 3/8 left out of 103L. Around 11L/100km lieometer says... seems close no?

You are going to hurt Bnorths feelin. Of course that’s with a tail wind and a half box of teas occupying the back seat right?

Supposed to get 9.5l per 100km.
Shall see how big of a lie that is.

Son has a deleted 1 ton and routinely gets between 10 and 11 on the highway when empty. Doesn't take much to change that and wind can make a difference. Hard to imagine regularly getting 12L per hundred with a deck and 2 sleds without a tail wind.

Couple things I can assure you of. When I leave gp, the last thing I think about on my way to valemount, blue river or mcbride is fuel. Love sledding there, don’t mind spending my money there and I honestly couldn’t give 2 f$cks if you don’t like my platty. That’s one thing I will guarantee you on. Love riding in bc and don’t mind spending my money there. Maybe it’s just a Canadian thing. Sorry, not sorry.

70-80k on a half ton is full phucked. I might really be a big spender and go to 50k on my next one for a real one ton diesel LOL.

Let me know when you are looking! I may be looking next year. But it’s not getting 12L/100 with two sleds doing 120. Lol

You don't have to spend 80k+ on a half ton, but if you want one that is really nice you can.

There is cars out there that cost millions of dollars, but you could also buy a kia. Choices are good

I get 18/100 km with my halfton. Our duramax diesels aren't much better, but could be the driver....

Mine's paid for so it owes me another 5 years or so. Love the colour combo of your Dodge though, they look sharp.
