When I am driving my logging truck I have a max payload of 63,500 kg's. But that does not mean I can put all that weight on one axle, it must be spread properly over 8 axles.

You have a max payload on your pickup, but that doesnt mean you can place an extrodinary amount on the rear axle only.
Your logging truck has a max gvw of 63,500 not payload. Truck and trailers prob weigh 15,000 kg so your payload is less than 50,000 kg.

front 3549 lbs
rear 3086 lbs image.jpg
gvw 8200 lbs
available for sleds and misc to ride locally 1565 lbs
allowable on front 4050
allowable on rear axle 4800
works for me to ride locally. It also helps to ride a light weight polaris axys

You are obviously lying as the experts on here say it can't be done!

Did you measure the total GVW? Just curious. You didn't mention, just the axles.

Add the two axle figures he mentioned together to get gvw. Not too difficult. This is why this thread keeps coming back. Nobody knows how to run a scale and understand the measurements.

I asked because it not going to make the experts happy. :) He didn't write in bold letters every detail What if the dog hadn't pooped that day?

Oh and I did add the numbers, 6635 lbs, total? That truck would be 5800-6000 lbs empty (curb wt) with the heavy duty package (8200lb gvw). So obviously the dog had a large poop. :)

But I believe him. I never said I didn't Just wanted to add that. with 1500lbs+ to spare, its likely more than legal, but people want to argue legal isn't safe. So what isn't safe if its legal?

The numbers quoted on this site are about as reliable as the Days Inn room rates.

I had the same truck a 14 F150 supercrew ecoboost 6' 6" box with 8200gvw package. Mine over scales with half tank gas, regular junk under back seats box empty except for roll cover and ford liner weighed 6100lbs.

So with my 250lbs in the drivers seat I had 1850lbs payload. I didnt use a deck but it does pull a 4 place with zero issue and with Diablo tow tune loaded it was really nice. Long term fuel average sat at 15L/100.

15 F150 as its been beat to death is 7850gvw but lighter so that's where the additonal payload comes from to make 2650 vs the 14 2300 payload. Real world would likely be 2450lbs with fuel but no one in it. That's better than a ram 2500 or gm 2500 with a diesel.

Does all this chatter mean that I can't haul one sled in my Dakota?
It's got a six foot box.

Id say if the numbers add up and its legal, then it is more than safe. Those numbers have to err on the uber conservative side to avoid liability.
