Is there anywhere to compare sleds across the board? With real data and not brand bashing? Would like to compare the M8, etec and the pro assault. Although I'm pretty confident on the sled I'll be getting it'd be nice to see the statistical comparisons side by side.

lol. Very helpful. No but I was thinking more like if you go to a vehicle website you can compare a brandit right on the same page as the vehicle you are interested in. Not sure if anyone knows what I'm talking about or not.

Thanks. And if any dealers on here want to post anything I'd appreciate it. Taking a test ride on each sled this year.

Is it Snowgoer or a magazine like that usually has all specs and good and bad about each brand. They came out at the beginning of the season and usually NON bias.

None of them seem to say Horsepower. Is there a reason why?

Best deal is to ride them and see which one you like the feel of the best. Magazine's are good for spec comparison but really need the seat of the pants feel. Besides in regards to the specs, the manufacturers make all that stuff up anyway like weight and HP. They are all within a few HP of one another, Cat and Doo are typically over-rated on the HP side and no one really publishes weights anymore, but they made those up too anyway so it don't really matter. What matters is how it feels on the hill.

Yeah seat time is what I will be needing. 90% sure on my choice now, but would like to try them all equally to give them all a chance.

modman is right, as far as comparisons go its all about what feels right FOR YOU, just because i think xp's feel awkward doesnt mean the next guy or gal isnt going to love it. and because maybe the cat goes a little higher on the hill doesnt mean that it suits my riding style.

but saying that, i truly dont think you could go wrong with any of the big 3, even a turbo'd nytro would be a fun as hell sled, but just more expensive. ride them all, get a feel for it, dont judge it in the first 30 seconds. coming from a doo, you will probably feel like a retard trying to hump a football on a poo or cat. but give it time.

We have one of each of the new models in our group (even some cheaters with turbos); so test rides are easy to come by. Snowseekers Mountain Magic turbo Pro RMK is just flat out awesome!!!! As far as the new stockers go, they are all so close a new winner can be declared minute to minute. I still fight with the E-Tec a bit more than the ProRMK and the ProClimb; but not enough to say I don't think it is a great sled. Hell; I just like 'em all!!!! You really should try to ride them all in the same conditions and see what fits ya the best.
