Just wondering if anyone else had there handle bars crack into on the new 2013 SP? I took mine out for a ride last saturday, only got 20km on the sled, powder cutting around and i brought up on the handle bars and they snapped off right where the grab bar mounts to the handle bars. They drilled 2 holes through the handle bars to connect the grab bar. Anyone else think this is a stupid idea that will affect the durability of the handle bars? Oh well I put last years handle bars on with the old grab bar and the dealer isnt going to cover it under warranty because they said I must of ridin it too hard!!! Pretty Sad St.Paul Power Murchants!!! It will be the last sled I buy from you guys!!!

Post a photo please of the bars.

If they drilled through the bars, that is just dumb.

It could actually be deemed as a safety recall as they have compromised the structural integrity of the bars.

Went out to hassler on Wednesday hit a stump with the ski just by the spindle, hit was hard send me over the bar, the RH ski that took the hit did move fourth back bout half inch, the shock is more center on the RH side then LH side what the thought on that, s module or arm bent hit was more upward than backwards, 2013 xm 130kms

The S module only needs an 1/8" tweek to show an inch difference in the shocks position in the a arm.

Things will bend when you run into stationary items.

might want to reconsider leaving your tools attached to the clutch guard as well. the tool for adjusting belt height fell off and found its way in to my primary. gouged up the primary around the clickers a pretty good. dealer covered it but said brp would only cover it once. said he had to battle with them a bit

If its snapped in it shouldn't be able to come out. Did the tabs break?

I wasn't comfortable with the possibility of loose tools around my clutches so I hollowed a small space under the owners manual in the seat foam.

didn't even notice. hadn't touched the tools yet, would've been like that from the dealer. it either fell out or was knock out by the side panel flexing.

Primary and down low. Going to clean things up obviously but wondering why they are even there. Noticed them after I unloaded the sled in the garage for the first time after picking up at dealer. Only ever seen this before after blowing belt up. Wondering if anyone else noticed same thing.

If its right at the bottom of the primary, it's normal, especially after loading and unloading.

This is what I did with my extra tools.

First time out this afternoon. Made it 10km before sled starting getting warm, stopped and piled snow on cooler and scratchers down continued on, kept getting hotter and hotter. Stopped again and piled snow, getting hotter, took rad cap off to try and bleed, didn't help. Sled was so hot it shut down. Long story short, 25km total by time we got back down, took into Golden Doo and found the thermostat was NFG.. Replaced it and GTG. What a piss off.

I think that's a great feature about the 'doo, you can't hurt them because they will just shut off when it reaches a certain temp. met some guys on rentals riding into kakwa a few years back in the late spring and i was worried about mine getting hot, as soon as the light came on I would shut er down and pile snow on the cooler. we came up on these guys sitting there and waiting for their sleds to cool. he said they just drive thru the light until the sled shuts off. sucks it happened to ya but be thankful you weren't on another brand that may have eaten it's pigs

Do the etecs benefit from the cooler thermostats like the ptecs?

Things aren't looking too bad for the xms if the worst problem so far is a slightly flawed tool holder! Next year

Yes I have had that replaced. I guess I will have a better look tomorow to see if any thing is sticking.

Check with your dealer. There was a flash that went with the recall but I'm thinking you should have had that done at PDI.
